ads on the Zone

I've seen a couple of different advertisers on the Zone pages. These are usually blindness related in some way shape or form. Today, however, I saw an ad for Skype. I just wanted to say way to go to whoever it was who made this deal and got them to advertise. The more mainstream product advertisements (as long as they stick to the current format) on here the better, especially if they bring in money to the good folks who operate the site.

Thanks for posting this, and I wholeheartedly agree.

In a world of ad-driven sites, the zone is a wonderful get away. So, a little advertising is fine. Besides, I might just see something I like. Since the zone is so devoid of ads, I think I would be more likely to check out an advertiser's site just because it was recommended here.

Definitley agreed.

Actually, I probably wouldn't have gone to the skype website in some time, so wouldn't have known about the calling nation-wide deal. I may even go for it. As long as I'm not auto-charged every year.

Actually, I just bought the unlimited calling plan. I might have done so anyway, but got reminded of it when I logged in here and saw that. The Zone is the first place I even heard about Skype doing that.
